PROBLEM
Most of the web pages of public entity bodies are similar and not intuitive for ordinary people. The essence of the task was making the web page attractive, clean, and understandable. I could only use Cesko’s new brand book was not allowed to change the layout/organizational hierarchy of the web. I could only work UI stuff and make visual appearance neat.
OVERVIEW
The Election Administration of Georgia is an administrative body, which, within its authority, is independent from other state bodies and operates in accordance with the legislation of Georgia.
GOAL
My intention was to bring the web’s look and feel into more friendly patterns, which means that the web should lose its technical nature and get more joyful and colorful patterns. With this in mind, I started to make rounded shapes and objects. As well as imbued with the idea of what problems exactly the visitor would solve with the new webpage.
SOLUTION
I combined rounded icons and shapes, added brighter colors that brought new life to the web. The motivation was to showcase the connection between dark and bright colors and how big a role can contrast play in a web’s attractiveness, highlighted the web in the best light.
HEADER
In the beginning, I started working on header enhancement. It should be friendly and visually appealing with advanced spacing.

The hero section is one of the most important parts of the web page so I decided to make it cleaner add some patterns and contract tones. I had 2 options for patterns (grey and green). With stakeholders we reached the agreement to use the green one.
iCONS
The icons on the right side are old-stylish and they need to get a refresh. In the entire web page, I used broken stylish icons which add a new look and feel to the web.
CARDS
Cards take a central place on the web page. I tried to make the user focus firstly on the 4 big cards and afterward on small ones. With this in mind, I granted different colors to each of them which add this section a more healthy look and feel.
SMALL CARDS
A next section is a place for small cards. In total there are 12 small cards with different styles and stroke weights. I tried to manage all of them in a neat and clean style and use light tones of brand colors.

MENU
The former menu bar was not intuitive and did not reflect brand colors as it should be. I decided to make neat, simple and clean.
CALENDAR
In introduced a new calendar keeping brand colors and rounded shapes. Besides, tried to remain white background and contrast color tones.
